Club Scorer – This is suitable for those who are interested in scoring for a club and have a little or no scoring experience. The course is run on two Sundays (26^th February and 3rd March 2023) at Solihull Blossomfield CC.

Level 2 Scorer – This is for scorers who have their Level 1 Accreditation or have a reasonable level of experience, and wish to progress along the scoring pathway so they can look to scoring outside their club. The course is 1 day on Sunday 29^th January 2023 at Solihull Blossomfield CC.

The 2023 Warwickshire County ACO Annual General Meeting will take place in the Chairman’s Lounge, Edgbaston Stadium, on Tuesday, 10th January, 2023. Further details will be provided in due course.

We have been informed of the death of former Birmingham League Umpire, Peter Jones. He died after a short illness.

His funeral will be on Monday 24th October at 10:30 at Mid Warwickshire Crematorium, followed by a wake at Southam Cricket Club. 

It is with the deepest regret that I must inform you of the passing of Jonathan Cousins, the BDPCL Umpires Appointments Secretary, who collapsed this morning while playing cricket in a six-a-side tournament at Kenilworth Cricket Club.

Sadly, he was unable to be resuscitated, despite the attendance of an air ambulance.

The condolences of everyone associated with the Association are extended to his family.
