Advanced Umpiring Course

Advanced Level Umpire Course ( equivalent to the former Stage Three)

We are holding a full two day course on Sundays 3rd and 10th March 2024 at Edgbaston (10 am to 4.30 pm) for umpires with at least a full season of umpiring experience in senior cricket and who want to progress their umpiring skills. It will be especially helpful to those who aspire to a higher level of cricket and/or those who simply want to refresh their umpiring.

The course is built around the experience that umpires can bring to it so it is based around group work and also completing some exercises prior to and between the two course sessions. The course looks at several match management scenarios as well as managing player conduct and also the mental side of umpiring such as developing resilience, focus and concentration, withstanding pressure etc.

The course fee is £25 and it will be held in association with Worcestershire ACO . To book a place please go to
